The 32nd Annual Meeting of the Asian Society for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (ASCVTS) was held in May at Wuhan, China. ASCVTS includes 30 countries with more than 1000 members. The conference gathered Cardiovascular and Thoracic experts from all over the world to partake in. Cutting-edge concepts and advanced research were presented and advocated for Thoracic and Esophageal Cancer Treatment, Endoscopic Thoracic Surgery and Lung Nodule Identification, etc. Through participation, OptoMedic’s latest breakthrough corresponded with the values promoted by this conference.
OptoMedic’s avant-garde technology, the 3D Fusion Mapping Workstation, was revealed at its booth. It is a platform combining 3D Reconstruction, Preoperative Planning and Surgical Imaging for Thoracic Surgeries. Assisted by this workstation, Thoracic surgeons can get precise 3D Pulmonary model with the visualization of lung nodules. Additionally, the simulation of injection of ICG into the artery or vein will mark the area of lung nodules to formulate a preoperative plan and operative 3D mapping. During the surgical procedures, surgeons can visualize pulmonary tissue alongside the 3D map on the monitor through Endoscopy System, which make the Lung nodules identification and surgeries highly accurate and precise.
The 3D Fusion Mapping Workstation definitely caught the eyes of doctors, professors and attendees. Under the spotlight, the technology has a promising future for being widely applied and utilized. Through engaging in ASCVTS, OptoMedic contributed to the advancement of Thoracic Treatment and Surgeries. Looking forward to meeting you in the next year.
