To foster a deeper understanding of Guicheng's progress among university students and entice more high-caliber youth to contribute to its advancement, the "Forge Ahead and Build New Achievements, Unleash Youthful Vitality in Guicheng" 2023 Guicheng Elite Training Camp, organized by the Guicheng Youth League Committee, commenced on August 21st. Approximately 30 young university students participating in the camp visited the Jinggu Intelligent Industrial Community, with their initial destination being the Guangdong OptoMedic Technologies INC.

During their visit, the students embarked on a tour of the OptoMedic Group's headquarters exhibition hall, where company officials delineated OptoMedic's evolutionary journey. They underscored OptoMedic's decade-long trajectory as emblematic of numerous Chinese domestic enterprises' quest for independent innovation. Engineers from OptoMedic provided live demonstrations of endoscope operations to the students, supplementing their explanations with surgical video illustrations. "Prior to surgery, patients receive injections of indocyanine green (ICG) contrast agents, which fluoresce under near-infrared light, aiding surgeons in precisely targeting lesion tissues, thereby enhancing surgical precision and thoroughness. We've integrated 4K, 3D, and multi-fluorescence technologies into endoscopy, rendering images clearer and more immersive, thereby optimizing the surgical experience for practitioners." Subsequently, students donned 3D glasses to view surgical imagery, marveling at the unprecedented clarity and realism.

To deepen students' comprehension of endoscope equipment development and medical optical imaging systems, they toured OptoMedic's product development center, production facility, and manufacturing service center, with a focus on innovative fluorescent drug research and development. Throughout the visit, company representatives elucidated OptoMedic's values, corporate culture, and other facets, affording students a firsthand encounter with OptoMedic's standing as a beacon of local independent innovation in Guicheng, underscored by its unwavering commitment to development and cultivation of young talent.

Many students voiced profound appreciation for the activity, citing newfound insights into typically elusive high-tech medical equipment and garnering professional knowledge on endoscopes, thereby expanding their intellectual horizons.
